BOSWORTH INDEPENDENT COLLEGE

Bosworth College was opened in 1977, and from that time has seen a steady growth in student numbers. The college was originally sited on St. George's Avenue in Northampton, but in 1997 the main teaching campus was moved to Nazareth House, just two minutes walk from the original building.

Nazareth House has a prestigious academic history, with the previous occupants being the University of Leicester. The college now maintains this academic traditional with its outstanding A-Level, GCSE and University Foundation teaching.

Bosworth Independent College has an international student body with over thirty nationalities represented. A little over a third are from the Northampton area.

The college has an excellent variety of courses for all students and works very hard on increasing the student's English levels. The main teaching campus is mainly used to deliver GCSE, A-level and Foundation Courses. The College has an extensive IT suite, and modern science laboratories. There are pool tables and computer games in student common rooms along with other modern activities for break times. The College offers excellent boarding facilities such as" supervised students under 17" residence, independent houses for the students of 17 and above, and the host family stay.

The Foundation Course in Bosworth College is very famous and has been accepted by many foremost British universities such as Warwick, Birmingham, Nottingham, Liverpool, Loughborough, Leicester and etc. due to its excellent teaching. In 2002 and 2003, 87% and 89% of grades were A-C.
